How does Spaced Repetition work?

The spaced repetition is the underlying learning methodology featured in our quizzes. Depending on how confidently and correctly you answer a question, Lecturio calculates exactly when you should see it again. Harder questions will repeat sooner, while things you know well will be spaced further out.

The goal is to reinforce your memorization skills and ensure that you retain the knowledge also in the mid and long term.

Do you always have to answer all due Spaced Repetition questions?

No, you can either go through all due questions or only answer questions from specific subject areas:

• In order to answer all due questions go to your "Spaced Repetition" area and click on "Review Due Questions".
• To answer questions from specific subjects, please:
  • Go to your "Spaced Repetition" area and select the question deck you would like to work on:
    
  • Click on the specific course or subject 
  • Switch to the "Quiz" tab
  • Click on "Review due questions"
